OD, Tim Le Funk & Miroslav Krstic - Rushin [July 2013]
The latest release from Tactal Hots Music is a cross European affair from Britain's Original Dysfunction (OD) the Dutchman Tim Le Funk and Miroslav Krstic representing Serbia. The collaboration does not disappoint with the product a funky tech house track ready for the resorts this summer. The track builds intently from the beginning making you patiently wait for the minimalistic vocal to materialise. When it does we hear the words 'Real House', a subtle nod to the slightly less educated before the track builds and the 'real house' takes over.
The Original Dysfunction Edit remains the in same funky realms as the original but gives it a new lease of life with a heavier production. The added layers include and pacier bassline to start and synth chords to accompany the track's climax.
The Whyel remix takes the track from the beach to the arena, adding euphoric, progressive chords and then a dirty drop. After the first electro break the track builds again before dropping but not content with recycling his work Whyel tries something completely different but equally as big and ready for the clubs. Whyel may be from California but this track wouldn't be out of place heard doing the rounds in the Dutch underground scene.
